LNG Provider in Iraq Needs Safe Storage for Pipes
Iraq’s sole provider of liquid natural gas was concerned that its inventory – 14,000 meters of pipes ranging from 11-14 meters each – was inadequately stored and poorly protected in the southern part of the country. The gas company was incurring high storage fees, had little space, and fretted about a move because it had no way to stow its pipes without damaging them on route to a new facility. ALP Iraq offered all-in storage and handling, and ample storage space at the secure Rumaila Energy Park near Basra. ALP safely racked and packed the pipes, mobilizing and moving them safely and without any damage over 10 days.
